A dynamic seminar-style for professionals on how to recognize the signs and symptoms of burnout and the science behind them. Through Lisa’s compelling personal journey from burnout to resilient personal best, and Dr. Pardo’s engaging physiological analysis, attendees will learn how to step away from the edge, use simple, practical strategies that can be applied immediately to resolve burnout and return to thriving. Skills acquired can be leveraged to improve efficiency, increase creativity, enhance corporate culture, and reduce absence. Attendees will leave with a greater understanding of how and why we burnout, but also how and why it can be easy to avoid or reverse this state. Learn tricks of the trade to better understand the good and bad aspects of stress and how to keep stress balanced.

WELLESLEY WELLNESS RETREAT

SUNDAY JANUARY 27TH, 2019
8am - 3:30pm
The Hunnewell Carriage House at Elm Bank, Wellesley

This year Dr. Pardo will be talking part in the 4th annual Wellesley Wellness Retreat on Sunday, January 27th, 2019 at the botanical gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley. It's an event that celebrates and supports our local community of moms with programming that focuses on smart self-care habits. It will be a relaxing and inspiring day with opportunities for yoga, life-coaching, massage, acupuncture, self-reflection and meditation. We'll also be sharing take-home strategies for mindful eating and nutrition, stress reduction, and many ways to foster vibrant good health.

Dr. Pardo will be presenting on “Digestive Matters - Holistic Care for a Healthy Belly”

We will discuss the microbiome, and learn about the significant role of food and lifestyle in the development, prevention, and treatment of inflammation and chronic illnesses.  From this discussion, learn to thrive with improved attention, focus, productivity, clarity, and calmness.
